HEADS UP FOR ALL YOU MONTY PYTHON FANS:
In Oct, IFC will show: Monty Python: Almost The Truth (The Lawyer’s Cut) a 6 part original doc series. This will mark the 40th anniversary of the first broadcast of the show. The Monty Python’s Flying Circus troupe comprises John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Graham Chapman.
The documentary will feature interviews with all of the surviving Python members, along with archive footage of Chapman, who died in 1989. Jones said: “This is the documentary I always hoped that would be made - something so complete and so faithful to the truth that I don’t need to watch it.”
